For more than fifty years Columbia Law School has offered this Summer Program in American Law in collaboration with the law faculties of Leiden and Amsterdam Universities. The Program is held every summer in July and alternates each year between Leiden and Amsterdam.

I lived the Program as a real breath of fresh air in my Law studies: In addition to the undeniable intellecutal enrichment of the courses, it was an incredible chance to meet people from the entire world, discover their way of thinking, and explore a wonderful city guided by its inhabitants. The days spent with these persons will remain etched in my memory and I am sure that some will be my friends for life!

The summer of 2013 marked the 50th anniversary of the Leiden-Amsterdam-Columbia Summer Program in American Law. A great landmark that deserved a significant celebration. We would like to thank all alumni who joined us for a memorable reunion on June 28 2013, that replicated our Columbia Summer experiences!

Due to the global outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we, unfortunately, have to inform you that this year's edition of the Columbia Summer Program is cancelled.
We will contact our currently registered participants as well as our partners by email as soon as possible. We sincerely hope to be able to welcome you to next year's edition of the Columbia Summer Program at the University of Amsterdam.

For more than 50 years, students and professionals from all over the world have joined us in the picturesque Dutch cities of Leiden or Amsterdam for the Columbia Summer Program to learn about all aspects of American Law taught by distinguished Professors from Columbia University, New York.
The Program is held in alternate summers, for the full month of July, in Leiden and Amsterdam. In 2023 the program will be held in Leiden.
Recent students - and students from many years past - have given overwhelmingly 永久免费梯子加速器 of the Program. Former students - who are now distinguished judges, political leaders, senior attorneys, business executives, and law professors - participate in great numbers in formal Program reunions and in smaller informal reunions in many countries.
In 2023 the Columbia Summer Program will take place in Leiden. Why don't you join this long tradition?
